CORY BAITZ, AIA
Senior Associate & Director of Design
Having worked and traveled throughout the country and world, Cory brings a broad perspective to his projects at MILES ASSOCIATES. He is a multi-faceted designer who combines a high-end design sensibility with the strong technical prowess to create spaces that are both experiential and functional. His attention to client interaction and disciplined coordination leads to smooth and collaborative results.
With 13 years of experience in both architecture and interior design, Cory has worked on numerous project types and sizes. Consistently, his designs evolve from the inside out; prioritizing functional relationships, spatial experience, and an exterior expression of the interior elements. His design for the $60 million GE Global Research Oil + Gas Technology Center highlights the building’s three main functions while enhancing their interactions within. Cory worked directly with GE’s main stakeholders and users to ensure the building met their needs and continues to do so as the building has transformed into the BHGE Energy Innovation Center of North America.
Cory’s leadership and contributions within the office align well with MILES’ standard of care and long-term goals; therefore, he is an integral part of the firm's future. His contributions outside the office include the City of OKC Downtown Design Review Committee and Leadership OKC LOYAL which emphasizes his commitment to the community.
