Davene has more than 20 years of experience as a healthcare planner, architect, and commercial facility designer. As a Senior Associate, she is at the helm of multiple MILES ASSOCIATES healthcare projects ranging from obstetric units to surgical suites. Her knowledge of healthcare protocols paired with her ability to communicate effectively makes her an expert in medical programming and planning. Attention to detail, project commitment, and a wide range of healthcare experience support her proven ability to consistently produce timely, efficient, and successful projects.


Davene is a WELL Accredited Professional (WELL AP) which signifies her extensive knowledge of human health and wellness in the built environment. In addition, she has earned her Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accreditation which is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high-performance green buildings. Earning these accreditations enables her to design projects which are environmentally responsible, healthy, and more profitable from a life-cycle standpoint.
