COMPLETION DATE

With expanded specialties and specialized care at OU Children's Hospital, leadership at the Ronald McDonald house in Oklahoma City determined there was a need for a second house to provide more overnight space for families.

Miles Associates was selected to renovate the 3rd floor of Garrison Tower at Children’s Hospital into a second Oklahoma City Ronald McDonald House. The space includes 14 bedrooms with private baths, an eating area, a living room and a kitchen. There is an Oklahoma City Thunder Rumble Room, reading room, computer station and television lounge. A laundry room and food storage space is also provided. The Ronald McDonald House is a home away from home for parents with sick children, and the convenience of being located a short walk from The Children’s Hospital provides additional comfort to its guests.

The 10,000-square foot facility had a construction cost of $1.5 million, most of which was funded by the generosity of donors.
