The MILES Team Welcomes the Return of Sunny Andrews

MILES ASSOCIATES is pleased to announce that Sunny Andrews has re-joined our team. Sunny is a licensed architect with over 15 years of experience and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Oklahoma. In addition, she has successfully completed the Guidelines for Laboratory Design course through the Harvard School of Public Health.

For the past three and a half years, Sunny has been an Area Planner and Project Manager for the Indian Health Service, a federal agency within the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services managing healthcare construction projects in the region. In addition, she served as the Area Healthcare Planning Officer defining the project needs and functional programs for the area’s federal facilities, as well as providing planning guidance and technical support to tribal facilities. Prior to that, Sunny worked for over eleven years as a member of the MILES ASSOCIATES Health + Science Team on some of our most complex projects. Upon her return, she will be rejoining the Health + Science Team as an Associate and will be splitting her time between architectural projects and program management.

“We are very excited to have Sunny back at MILES,” said Jorge Charneco, Managing Principal of MILES ASSOCIATES. “Sunny was an asset to the firm for 11+ years and her recent program management experience at the Indian Health Services will certainly make her more valuable to our organization and the projects she is involved with in the future.”

Sunny is known for her analytical planning skills to develop and implement delineated critical paths to facilitate success for the client.  We are excited to gain her proactive leadership and communication skills, as well as her ability to translate a client’s need into an innovative design solution.

Sunny's previous experience as part of the MILES Science & Technology Team included the completion of some of our most highly-technical projects; such as the Metrology Lab Addition for the Oklahoma State Department of Agriculture. This is one of a handful of facilities throughout the country which is certified by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and accredited as a calibration laboratory by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP).
